Day 01 – Budapest – Arrival
After arrival in Budapest, meet our local English speaking guide and transfer to our hotel, Hotel Hungaria City Center.
Day 02 – Budapest, Danube Bend Tour
After breakfast embark on a full day tour to the Danube Bend. Walking tour in Szentendre, the city of the arts on the bank of the Danube (colorful buildings, art galleries, museums, churches, coffee shops and restaurants, souvenir shops). Visit of the Royal Castle of Visegrad from where you can enjoy a panorama to the bend of the Danube river – Enjoy the medievial knight tournament then a 3 course Royal lunch at a medieval renaissance restaurant. In the afternoon travel to Esztergom and visit the largest church, Cathedral of the Primate of Hungary. The church in the place of the present basilica was founded by King St. Stephen, the first king of Hungary. Overnight in Budapest.
Day 03 – Godollo & Horse Show
Buffet breakfast at hotel – drive to Palace of Godollo – Summer Residence of the Habsburg Family in Hungary. One hour guiding in the castle – driving to – horse show – taking the horse carriages – visiting the stables and typical farm animals and the prizes of the 2 famous brothers winning at international horse carriage championships – 3 course lunch with drinks. Transfer back to Budapest – free time – Overnight in Budapest.
Day 04 – Holloko Village
After breakfast departure to Holloko– first World Heritage village in Hungary: ancient cozy buildings – have a typical Hungarian 3 course country lunch with wine – transfer back to Budapest – free time – Overnight in Budapest.
Day 05 – Eger & Valley of the Beautiful Women
After breakfast check-out of hotel. Half day walking city tour in Eger – Visiting the Basilica in Eger and down town area – free time. Continue on to Valley of the Beautiful Women – visiting a real typical and old wine cellar with wine tasting. Then enjoy a local 3 course lunch with wine with Gipsy music. Return to Budapest and transfer to ship for boarding. Welcome cocktail and crew presentation on board ship.
Day 06 – Danube Cruise – Bratislava
Day 07 – Danube Cruise – Vienna

Day 10 – Passau – Disembark, PRAGUE
Today after disembarkation, meet your guide in Passau and set off a trip to Prague. To make the 4hours drive to Prague more pleasant make a stop in beautiful town Cesky Krumlov and enjoy 2hours excursion in the medieval Bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov – named a World Heritage Site in 1992 by UNESCO for its historical importance and physical beauty. You will spend time here to explore the narrow cobbled streets, little back lanes, arch covered footpaths, and one of the finest castles in the country. The castle service provides English speaking guides, who will reveal to you the history of the castle and interiors built in different styles from gothic to the 19th century styles. In the afternoon set off the journey again and drive remaining 2h to Prague, with transfer to our hotel, Hotel Beseda Prague
Day 11 – Prague
Enjoy your first day in Prague by discovering one of the famous sights of Prague, well know from most of the pictures attracting tourist from all over the world to visit the capital of Czech Republic. As the whole Prague is connected with tram network, you will also enjoy a ride on this typical mean of transport to get up to the Castle hill. In your case, the tram will be exclusively reserved for you and on top of that it won’t be an ordinary tram, but historical one. First, you will enjoy a guided tour of Prague Castle and its close surroundings. You will start your excursion in the square between Loreta (baroque monastery with nice chimes) and Černínský palace, the place where the postwar minister of foreign affairs – Jan Masaryk was assassinated. Then you will continue to the Hradčanské Square. In the Prague Castle itself you will visit celebrated St. Vitus Cathedral and discover the Old Royal Palace. You will also stroll in the narrow Golden Lane, famous for picturesque dwellings of the staff and servants of the castle.
Lesser Towns is situated on the slopes and below the Castle. It is beautiful and preserved part of Prague, full of baroque noble palaces, whose owners tried to be as close to the kings as possible. After the lunch, you will leave the left river bank for the Old Town. To get there you can’t miss one of Prague’s “must” – the famous Charles Bridge with unbeatable panorama of the Prague Castle. Then you will continue to the Old Town Square, where you will admire the well-known performance of the Astronomic Clock as the view of the whole city from its tower (easily accessible by system of lifts). To finish the day in style, we will arrange small panoramic river cruise on wooden boats to the narrow canals of Little Quarter – called Prague Venice (the boat leaves from the Old Town, under the Charles Bridge and brings the clients back) – estimated time of the cruise: 30min.
Day 12 – Prague, Karlstej Castle & Konopiste Castle
During this approx. 5 hour excursion, you will discover one of the largest and the most popular Gothic castles in the country. Karlstejn Castle was founded in 1348AD by Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor-elect and King of Bohemia. The castle served as a place for safekeeping the Imperial Regalia as well as the Bohemian crown jewels, holy relics, and other royal treasures. Located about 30 km (19 mi) southwest of Prague above the village of the same name, it is one of the most famous and most frequently visited castles in the Czech Republic. During the guided tour of the interiors of the castle, you will a have a chance to visit the splendid Chapel of the Holy Cross, decorated by gold, jewels and gothics paintings created by medieval painter Master Teodoric. After the excursion you will move on to the Castle Konopiste (40 minute drive for Karlstejn to enjoy another beautiful castle, however from very different period. This castle was adjusted for the purposes of the Imperial family in the 19th century and served as a place for leisure and hunting amusement. The interiors will allow you to discover, how the nobles families spent their free time at the turn of the 19th and 20th century.
Day 13 – Prague
Jewish Quarter: The morning sightseeing will be focused on the Jewish heritage. Prague has one of the most preserved Jewish quarter in Europe, while the other European Jewish towns were razed to the ground during the World War II. The visit will include interior of all important Synagogues in Prague, Jewish museum and Jewish cemetery Vysehrad: Afterwards you will enjoy discovering one of the Prague’s mythical places – Vysehrad. It is located on the hill opposite to Prague castle hill, where, according to the legends, glory of Prague has been predicted. Vysehrad is a place of both historical importance and a venue where people of Prague love to spend their leisure time. Famous Church of St. Peter and Pavel and Slavín – a cemetery, where all the famous Czechs were buried (among them are writers, musicians and politicians) is surrounded by gardens in English and French style. From Vysehrad fortification you can admire breathtaking view of Prague. Excursion in Staropramen brewery: In the afternoon you will be transferred to the across the river to famous Prague brewery – Staropramen, where you will have an opportunity to enjoy Tour & Beer tasting excursion – visitors get virtual guidance through this audio-visual exposition introducing to the process of brewing and distribution of the beer. At the end of the tour you can taste one from four different beer types produced by the brewery. The tour takes approx. 50 mins . The tour will be walking from hotel.
